Planning for Quality Online Teaching and Learning at the Institutional/Faculty Level

Universities are exploring how to drive and support quality online teaching and learning during university closure to ensure that their students could meet the programme learning outcomes within the expected learning timeline.

University self-assessment tool

Based on the abovementioned framework and the experiences of two universities in Cambodia and Sri Lanka, UNESCO Bangkok developed an online self-assessment tool for universities to enhance their understanding of blended/online learning and promote the quality of higher education in Asia-Pacific. In this self-assessment tool, university leaders will be able to evaluate their university’s approach to online teaching and learning, identify gaps and enhance the access to and quality of online teaching and learning. A summary report with recommended resources will be provided upon completion of the self-assessment.
