COVID-19 and University Closure

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to university closure worldwide where all face-to-face teaching and learning have been moved to a distance and online learning environment. Universities have to plan how to prepare and support their teaching staff to engage students in their learning within programmes and across courses. Teaching staff have to design and implement quality distance and online lessons to support their students to meet the programme and course intended learning outcomes.

This Distance and Online Learning for Universities website (* guides and supports universities and their teaching staff to plan for and implement quality online teaching and learning for their students. Although many of the resource links are from the more developed countries and regions, these resources could be localised and adopted for use by universities and their teaching staff in developing countries and regions.
